Light Infocom is awarded in the US
SpoolView, a printing management software from Light Infocom, from Campina Grande, PB, won the Top of the World prize from the prestigious American magazine SCO World, produced for users of the SCO-Unix operational system throughout the world, with 55 thousand copies.
SCO World revised and compared the 4.0 version of SpoolView with other printing spooler managers and concluded that the "numerous attributes of SpoolView make the system ideal for printing management".
The results of the SCO World assessment were conclusive. e SpoolView was classified as "Top of the World" because it "solves almost any potential printing problem, contains numerous useful and economic characteristics and tackles the important questions of security".
